Course Rundown

Work towards becoming a carpentry apprentice in the building and construction industry. Gain a competitive advantage by being the apprentice every carpenter wants, and increase your employment prospects.

Eligibility

There are no educational entry requirements for this qualification, however:

  • Participants must be 16 years old or over
  • Be competent in written and spoken English.
  • All prospective students will undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation prior to commencing the training.

The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements, with a focus on practical application projects.

Where Will It Lead Me?

This qualification prepares graduates for an apprenticeship into carpentry, CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry. After successfully completing your carpentry apprenticeship you can be employed as a qualified carpenter.

All CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry graduates will be given the opportunity to enrol in the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) qualification which will give participants the skills and knowledge to work in supervisory roles within the domestic low-rise building and construction industry.
