The Business Ready Skill Set, offered by Vocational Training Services, is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the workplace. This program focuses on critical areas such as work health and safety (WHS), emergency procedures, effective use of computer software, and time management. By completing this skill set, individuals will gain the confidence and competencies needed to navigate various job environments, making them highly employable across multiple industries.
This course is particularly accessible, as it is completely free for Australian citizens and permanent residents who are no longer in school. With no entry requirements, participants simply need to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and complete a brief Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment. The training is delivered through a combination of classroom instruction, practical training, and supported self-study, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience that prepares students for real-world challenges.

Eligibility
There are no entry requirements to study this qualification, although students must be able to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and identification.
Students must also complete a short Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to assist VTS in identifying a learner’s eligibility and individual needs.
