Key points for Career FAQs users

If you enquire about a course, we send your details to the provider of that course so they can contact you. These include your name, email, phone number, location, course interest and your message. We only share your details with other providers if you agree.

We or the provider may contact you by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger or web chat to confirm your course interest, help you connect with the provider and, if you’re interested, tell you about other study options. We keep a record of these conversations and your responses. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

If you’ve agreed to hear from us, we may send you information about courses, study options and other career and education-related products and services, including from our education and industry partners. You can unsubscribe at any time.

If you download a career resource or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address.

If you write an article for us, we only publish your name and details with your agreement.

We use cookies and tracking pixels, including tools from Google, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn and HubSpot, to run our websites and measure our advertising.

To keep our websites secure, we keep records of website access, including IP addresses, to detect and prevent misuse such as unauthorised scraping.

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom.
