About Acupuncture

A form of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture has been practised for hundreds of years. Based on the theory that energy flows through the body, the practice of acupuncture strategically places very thin needles into a patient’s skin at certain points on their body to unblock or influence their energy flow.

Acupuncture courses look at the fundamentals of this ancient practice, including acupuncture techniques, massage, Chinese dietary therapy, basic anatomy and point location, as well as the philosophical and cultural principles of Chinese medicine.
