Eligibility

To enrol, applicants must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate III or demonstrate equivalent competency
  • Have sound language and literacy skills equivalent to Year 10 English
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have access to required resources (see below)

As a condition of enrolment, learners must provide evidence of completing an automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification or demonstrate equivalent competency through RPL.

This course is available to domestic students only.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-capped boots, and protective gloves
  • A mechanic’s tool kit suitable for advanced diagnostic work
