How Much Will It Cost?

Eligible Australian students may choose to defer some, or all, of their tuition fees through FEE-HELP, a loan scheme repaid through the tax system based on income.

FEE-HELP

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).

Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • have an undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree in any discipline;
  • fulfil non-standard English language requirements that are outlined in ‘Additional requirements’.

You can demonstrate your proficiency in a number of ways, including through an approved English language test or recognised past study taught and assessed in English.

The Master of Counselling requires an overall IELTS Academic score (or equivalent) of 7.0, with no band score below 7.0.
