The course is specifically designed to equip pharmacy assistants with the understanding of a diverse range of pharmacy products and health care support services. Individuals in this capacity may extend their support to a limited scope of dispensary activities while also offering technical advice and assistance to team members. Through this course you will develop an extensive knowledge base encompassing pharmacy products and health information, an understanding of industry protocols and standards governing the supply of scheduled medicines, coupled with the ability to apply these protocols as well as the ability to effectively support customers’ needs.
This course is conducted in classroom at one of Gateway Training Academy’s campuses in Western Australia (Osborne Park).
Students from WA may be eligible for government funding through the Jobs & Skills WA program, both of which cover a part of your course fees. Please enquire for to details and to check your eligibility.
