I graduated with a Bachelor of Communication (Organisational Communication) from the University of Smithtown in 2008. I was ranked in the top 10 per cent of my graduating class and achieved the University Medal for academic achievement. My UAI score was 94.40.

During my three-month full-time internship at Department of Air Transport, I received an excellent grounding in general communications practice and an understanding of the important role security plays in our society. I have also gained experience in communications through my internship with the Department of Air Transport and various volunteer positions that I have held including Volunteer Fundraiser for the Smithtown Medical Research Institute and Volunteer Youth Representative on the Smithtown Community Centre Committee.

As a result of my perse work experiences, I have developed well-rounded skills in written and verbal communications, community relations, developing and implementing creative ideas and project management.

I work well as part of a team, for example when I worked closely with the fundraising team at Smithtown Medical Research, which required efficient communication, diplomacy and dispute resolution skills.
