How Much Will It Cost?

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).

Course Rundown

Enter the world of cyber security with the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security qualification from the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC).

Working with case studies, real data and insider knowledge, you’ll be exposed to emerging cyber security threats and issues, and learn cutting-edge methodologies as you develop your investigative skills. Be guided by industry experts with decades of practical experience. Complete the program with multiple industry-recognised certifications that will enhance your skill-set and provide you with an advanced understanding on varying topics.

This course will allow you to develop cyber tradecraft skills and competencies, including an introduction to cryptocurrencies, encryption, device and network security, vulnerability testing, and strategies to locate offenders. You will learn to apply and use a range of basic software and hardware in cyber investigations, identify points of attack on devices and networks and how to secure them and you will sharpen your critical thinking, investigative and ethical skills.

After completing the graduate certificate, you will be able to explore further industry education with a Master of Cyber Security and Forensics.
