This course is ideal for people looking to start studying for their disability certificate qualifications who do not meet entry criteria, or for people already working in the industry who wish to up-skill without having to tackle a certificate-level qualification. You will learn essential industry skills such as how to facilitate the empowerment of people with a disability, how to communicate and work in health or community services, how to provide individualised support and how to follow safe work practices for direct client care. By the end of the course you will have all the knowledge required to take on entry-level roles in the disability sector, or to gain access to the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) qualification which will allow you to pursue more senior roles.
