Whether you’re already somewhat experienced in the building and construction industry, or you’re just starting out, this Certificate IV is the ideal option. Throughout this flexible course, you’ll learn how to plan, prepare and manage residential construction sites, and become confident in your knowledge of the industry’s principles, techniques and regulations.
By the time you graduate, you’ll be well-versed in everything from the ins and outs of running a business to the processes involved in selecting contractors and overseeing building projects from start to finish. Then you’re free to put your new skills to use in whichever career path you choose.
BAA offer two streams for this program, depending on your level of experience in the industry.
Standard Stream: Part-time, two nights per week of facilitator-led classes for 45 weeks
*Total duration is typically between 47 to 52 weeks when taking into account holidays including Christmas shutdown.
Experienced Stream: Part-time, two nights per week of facilitator-led classes for 38 weeks
*Total duration is typically between 42 and 46 weeks when taking into account holidays including Christmas Shutdown.
You may require up to 8 hours per week outside of class times to complete additional learning and assessment activities, yet this will vary based on each learner.
