Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • If entering the experienced stream, must be currently working in the building and construction industry with at least five years experience, or have already obtained a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building); OR
  • If less than five years experience, must enter the less standard stream.

How Much Will It Cost?

If you are an Australian citizen, you may be eligible to receive a government HECS-HELP loan, meaning you can defer payment of your fees.

Alternatively, you can pay your course fees upfront.

You may be eligible to receive HECS-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $55,874 (2017-18 income year).
