Course Rundown
The Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership, offered by AIM Business School, is a postgraduate qualification designed for working professionals who want to build genuine capability in leading artificial intelligence adoption within their organisations. Accredited by TEQSA at Level 8 on the Australian Qualifications Framework, this course equips learners to develop and evaluate AI strategies, apply data analytics to improve business performance, and engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders on matters of AI, data, and innovation.
The course is made up of one compulsory core unit focused on leadership fundamentals, alongside three specialisation units drawn from areas including AI strategy, governance and leadership, analytics and business transformation, data-driven decision making, and digital leadership. Rather than traditional exams, assessment is based on practical, real-world projects that participants can apply directly to their own workplace context. Delivered entirely online, the program is structured around seven-week units with monthly intakes, making it well suited to those balancing study with full-time work and other commitments. Each unit is designed to be completed in focused, manageable sessions, with support available from experienced faculty and a dedicated student support team throughout the journey.
The Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership also serves as the first stage of a broader articulation pathway leading to the Graduate Diploma in Applied AI Leadership and, ultimately, the Master of Business Administration (Applied AI Leadership). This means learners can build their credentials incrementally, gaining a recognised qualification at each stage while progressing toward an MBA. It is a practical choice for professionals who are ready to step into more strategic, technology-informed leadership roles. Enquire to learn more.
