Course Rundown

The Graduate Diploma in Applied AI Leadership, offered by AIM Business School, is a postgraduate qualification designed for working professionals who want to deepen their expertise in AI-driven leadership and broader business management. Sitting at Level 8 on the Australian Qualifications Framework and accredited by TEQSA, this diploma builds directly on the Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership and forms the second stage of the Future-Focused MBA Pathway, a structured articulation route leading to the Master of Business Administration (Applied AI Leadership).

Across eight units, students explore a blend of AI-focused specialisation and core business capability. The specialisation stream covers AI strategy, governance and leadership, analytics and business transformation, data-driven decision making, and digital leadership with emerging technologies. The core stream allows students to tailor their studies by selecting from subjects spanning business decision-making, managerial finance, marketing management, business economics, and more. Together, these learning areas equip graduates to lead through digital transformation, apply rational and creative approaches to complex business decisions, manage financial resources effectively, and develop informed marketing strategies grounded in consumer behaviour and market analysis.

The course is delivered entirely online, with a consistent seven-week unit structure that makes it straightforward for busy professionals to fit study around their existing work and personal commitments. There are no exams. Assessment is based on practical, real-world projects that students can apply directly to their own professional contexts. Monthly intakes mean there is no need to wait for a new semester to begin. Students are supported throughout by academic coaches and a dedicated student support team. Those who complete this diploma are well positioned to progress into the final stage of the MBA pathway, where an applied capstone project and elective units round out the qualification.
