Course Rundown
The ICF Certificate of Professional Coaching, offered by the Institute of Applied Psychology, is a six-week ICF-accredited coaching course designed for people who want to build practical coaching skills. Delivered online through self-paced eLearning and live Zoom sessions, the course includes more than 60 contact learning hours and supports students working toward the International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach credential pathway.
Students learn how to lead real coaching conversations using the ICF Core Competencies and a range of practical coaching frameworks, including the GROW Model, Wheel of Life, Ladder of Inference, Logical Levels, and SMART Goals. The course focuses on skills such as deep listening, powerful questioning, building trust, clarifying goals, and helping clients turn insight into meaningful action.
Upon satisfactory completion, students receive the IAP Certificate in Professional Coaching. Graduates may apply their skills across areas such as career coaching, leadership and workplace coaching, wellbeing coaching, life coaching, mindset coaching, or personal development coaching.
