Course Rundown

The CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, offered by Enhance Training, is designed for individuals looking to advance their careers in the disability support sector. This course builds upon the foundational knowledge gained in the Certificate III in Individual Support, equipping students with the skills necessary to provide tailored support to individuals with complex needs. Participants will learn to champion independence, enhance quality of life, and promote active engagement for people living with disabilities, preparing them for roles such as team leaders or disability support coordinators.

With a focus on a person-centred learning approach, the course covers essential areas such as facilitating community participation, understanding legal and ethical compliance, and working with individuals facing mental health challenges. The blend of online learning and practical placements ensures that students can apply their knowledge in real-world settings, gaining confidence and experience as they progress. Enhance Training also provides dedicated support through trainers and Success and Wellbeing Services, ensuring that students have the guidance they need throughout their educational journey.

This course is government subsidised for eligible students in SA. It is NOT available to people on 500 or 600 visas.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this course, you must have completed:

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) OR
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) OR
  • CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS Entry to CHCSS00125 Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set
