The CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services offered by KCA Education is designed for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. This course provides essential skills and knowledge to support and empower individuals and families facing various challenges. With a blend of theoretical learning and practical experience, students will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers key areas such as case management, community development, and support coordination, preparing them for a rewarding career in the community services sector.
Students can choose to participate in this course through in-person classes or virtual online classrooms, making it accessible for those who may not be able to attend on-campus sessions. The program spans 31 weeks, including 120 hours of supervised work placement, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a relevant community services organisation. Graduates will be well-equipped to pursue diverse roles, including program coordinator, social housing coordinator, and mental health support worker, in a sector that is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.
