Course Rundown

Love games, and want to help make them instead of just playing them? The Advanced Diploma of Game Design and Development gives students the creative, technical and practical skills to bring games and interactive experiences to life, built around three key areas: game ideation and design, asset production, and game project management.

Students learn to develop game concepts, create digital assets, and work with industry-standard tools and game engines, including Unreal Engine. Through studio-based projects, they team up with game programming students, using agile project management methods to design, build and ship actual games.

Along the way, students build skills in creative problem-solving, teamwork, communication and leadership, and get a real understanding of the business side of game development, from marketing to promotion. Graduates leave with practical experience and industry-relevant skills to help them pursue opportunities in the gaming industry. Enquire to learn more.
