La Trobe University Courses

La Trobe University is a Victorian university ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide, and one of the top three Victorian universities for overall employer satisfaction (Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching, 2026 Employer Satisfaction Survey). They offer courses across health, business, law, education, IT, science, arts, and more — on campus, online, or blended.

La Trobe has partnered with the Institute of Data to offer intensive programs in data science and AI, cyber security, and software engineering for people who want to move into tech quickly. Programs run 12 weeks full-time or 24 weeks part-time, with in-person classes in Melbourne CBD and a remote option available. When you finish, you get two credentials: an Institute of Data industry certification and a University Certificate of Completion from La Trobe. You also earn credit points toward selected La Trobe postgraduate courses, so it can count toward further study if you want to keep going.
