Students may be eligible for scholarships covering up to 20% of the fee, making the discounted fee $16,134.

Course Rundown
The course Diploma of Business (Event Management) offered by Torrens University Australia equips students with essential business skills to plan and manage a variety of events. This dynamic course covers key areas such as event communications, operations management, and event marketing. Students will gain a broad base of generalist skills through six core and two elective subjects, which are directly applicable to event management and other business contexts. The course is available both on campus and online, providing flexibility to suit different lifestyles and career goals.
Throughout the Diploma of Business (Event Management), students will develop a solid grounding in event management practices, learning how to manage large-scale cultural and social activities successfully. The curriculum includes key marketing strategies used by professional event managers globally, as well as core skills in business logistics, communications management, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, students will undertake 50 hours of industry experience, providing invaluable real-world insights and enhancing employability.
Eligibility
To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- Australian secondary school certificate, or equivalent; and/or,
- Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above; and/or,
- Successful completion of at least 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6, 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5 or above, or equivalent; and/or,
- Work-life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level which may include approval of prior study or successful completion of a readiness assessment.
