How Much Will It Cost?

Total cost for this course is $20,167 (8 subjects at $2,521 per subject).

Students may be eligible for scholarships covering up to 20% of the fee, making the discounted fee $16,134.

FEE-HELP

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).

Course Rundown

The course Diploma of Business (Event Management) offered by Torrens University Australia equips students with essential business skills to plan and manage a variety of events. Students will gain a broad base of generalist skills through six core and two elective subjects, which are directly applicable to event management and other business contexts. Throughout the Diploma of Business (Event Management), students will develop a solid grounding in event management practices, learning how to manage large-scale cultural and social activities successfully. Additionally, students will undertake 50 hours of industry experience, providing invaluable real-world insights and enhancing employability.

Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Australian secondary school certificate, or equivalent; and/or,
Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above; and/or,
Successful completion of at least 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6, 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5 or above, or equivalent; and/or,
Work-life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level which may include approval of prior study or successful completion of a readiness assessment.
