How Much Will It Cost?

Total cost for this course is $20,400 (8 subjects at $2,550 per subject).

Students may be eligible for scholarships covering up to 20% of the fee, making the discounted fee $16,320.

Eligible Australian students may choose to defer some, or all, of their tuition fees through FEE-HELP, a loan scheme repaid through the tax system based on income.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Course Rundown

The Diploma of Business (Marketing) at Torrens University offers a comprehensive foundation in strategic marketing, equipping students with the skills to create impactful marketing campaigns. This course is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience through real client briefs, ensuring that students are job-ready upon graduation. The curriculum includes eight core subjects that cover essential marketing principles, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications. Students will also engage in 50 hours of industry experience, providing valuable insights and professional connections.

Throughout the course, students will explore the role of marketing in various organisational contexts, learn to engage and influence customer behaviour, and identify unique branding opportunities. The program also offers a pathway into a Bachelor of Business, allowing for further specialisation in areas such as Marketing, Event Management, Sport Management, Entrepreneurship, or Hospitality and Tourism Management. The course is accredited by the Australian Marketing Institute, ensuring that the education provided is industry-approved and relevant.

Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Australian secondary school certificate, or equivalent; and/or,
  • Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above; and/or,
  • Successful completion of at least 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6, 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5 or above, or equivalent; and/or,
  • Work-life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level which may include approval of prior study or successful completion of a readiness assessment.
