How Much Will It Cost?

Total cost for this course is $29,200 (12 subjects at $2,433 per subject).

Students may be eligible for scholarships covering up to 20% of the fee, making the discounted fee $23,360.

Billy Blue College of Design offers a number of easy payment plans or the ability to pay per subject or per semester as you go.

Eligible Australian students may choose to defer some, or all, of their tuition fees through FEE-HELP, a loan scheme repaid through the tax system based on income.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).

Course Rundown

Start your career in Photography and Photo Imaging with this hands-on Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging delivered by Billy Blue College of Design at Torrens University Australia.

This course will give you a broad base of generalist photography and photo imaging knowledge and experience. Interweaving theory and practice, you will gain skills in using software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere, and equipment, such as DSLR cameras, studio lighting and video rigs. You’ll explore both still-image and video formats and learn real workplace procedures, so you have the confidence to manage many types of photography projects from start to finish. With exercises grounded in industry practice and access to studio spaces, you can refine your skills and experiment with different techniques.
