Course Rundown

Love capturing a moment, or telling a story through a single image? The Diploma of Photography and Content Creation from Billy Blue College of Design is built for people who want to turn that passion into real skills. This course covers the technical and creative sides of photography, from camera operation and lighting techniques to post-production and video capture, giving you a solid, well-rounded foundation in the art and science of taking great photos.

You’ll get stuck into hands-on activities designed to encourage experimentation, helping you build a portfolio that actually looks like you by the time you’re done. The course also focuses on visual storytelling, so you’ll learn how to say something with your images, not just take them. With a mix of traditional and contemporary practices, you’ll come out ready to adapt as the industry keeps changing.

Along the way, you’ll learn industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro, and get hands-on with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, studio lighting and gear. If you’re ready to turn your love of photography into a career, this could be the place to start. Enquire to learn more.
